Conheça o brasileiro responsável pelas animações no game ‘Starcraft II’

A produtora Blizzard, responsável pelos games “Starcraft”, “World of warcraft” e “Diablo”, além de produzir títulos bem recebidos pela crítica especializada, produz um dos melhores “cinematics” do mundo dos jogos eletrônicos. Recentemente, a qualidade das animações geradas por meio de computador, que contam mais detalhes das histórias, recebeu elogios da Pixar, estúdio responsável por filmes como “Toy story” e “Carros”. A empresa afirmou que “a Blizzard é a Pixar no mundo dos games”.

Há mais de oito anos, estas cenas que parecem filmes têm a mão de um brasileiro. O paulistano Fausto de Martini, 34 anos, atualmente é diretor de arte da produtora com sede na cidade de Irvine, na Califórnia, e trabalhou nas principais cenas do game de estratégia “Starcraft II: wings of liberty”. “Trabalhar neste game, que é o meu favorito, é a realização de um sonho para mim”.

O diretor de arte da Blizzard afirma que, para conseguir destaque na indústria de games, é preciso “trabalhar duro”. “Se você tem capacidade, acredite em si mesmo.
